Accountynt

Where this data comes from

Accountynt does not buy listings and does not take submissions from lead brokers. Every firm on the site started as a public licensing record published by the state that licensed it.

Our sources

What we take

Firm name, firm licence number, office address, resident manager, the date the office was registered, the licence expiration date, and the licence status exactly as the board words it. We keep a link back to the board’s own record on every listing so anyone can check us.

What we deliberately do not take

The Texas board’s firm pages contain phone and fax numbers that the board chose not to display. We do not collect them. Phone numbers on Accountynt come from a firm claiming its own listing and typing one in, or they are absent. If a listing has no phone number, that is why.

We also do not collect anything about individual licence holders beyond the resident manager the board names on the firm record, and we do not publish disciplinary detail. Where the board records disciplinary history we say so and send you to the board to read it.

How often it refreshes

Licences expire and firms dissolve, so a stale directory is a harmful one. Each listing carries the date we last checked it against the board. We crawl politely, slowly, and with a user agent that identifies us and links back here.

Something is wrong, or you want off

Open your firm’s page and use the claim form to tell us. If you want the listing gone entirely, say so there and we will remove it. Licence details themselves come from the board, so a wrong address or a wrong status has to be corrected with the board first, and our next refresh will pick it up.

Not a recommendation

A listing on Accountynt means a state board licensed that firm. It does not mean we vouch for their work, and we are not affiliated with any licensing board. Confirm the licence with the board before you hire anyone. Every listing links straight to the board record so that takes one click.
