- 2Hit “Is this your firm?” and tell us who you are.
- 3We check by hand that you are with the firm, usually within a business day, then hand the listing over.
The rules we hold ourselves to
Paying moves you up. It never moves anybody else off. Every firm the state board licenses in a city we cover appears on that city page whether they pay us or not, in the same order they always would have.
We cap featured placement at 3 firms per city per service. The reason is selfish as much as principled: a shortlist that is all adverts is not a shortlist, and the firms who bought the first three slots would be the ones who lost.
Featured listings carry a badge everywhere they appear. If a reader cannot tell which placements were bought, the unbought ones stop meaning anything.
Questions we get
- Can I pay to remove a competitor?
- No. Paying moves you up, it never moves anyone else off. Every listing that comes from the state board stays on the page whether that firm pays us or not.
- Is a featured listing marked as an advert?
- Yes, on every surface it appears. A shortlist people cannot trust is worth nothing to the firms on it.
- How did my firm get listed without me?
- Your firm licence is a public record published by your state board. We collect those records, tidy them up and put them somewhere the public can search. We do not publish anything the board does not.
- I want off the site entirely.
- Tell us and we will remove the listing. We would rather you claimed it, but it is your name.
- Do you sell my leads to anyone else?
- No. A call from your listing goes to your phone. We count that it happened so we can show you what you are paying for, and that is the end of it.
